“Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life.” ~ Rumi
The list is long – that which I am grateful for. I speak often of how grateful I am to live where I live, to have what I have…to do what I do in my life. I write gratitude lists on a pretty regular basis. There is something about being grateful that allows you to see even more things to be grateful for. It opens you up to more….to receive more, to feel more and to accept more into your life. It changes who you are.
At the top of my grateful list are these two! No amount of words speak to my gratitude for Ed. He has always supported me, been kind to me and does anything for me. He is so intelligent, handsome and incredibly witty. He manages a multi-million dollar company during the week, and then humbly totes around my lenses on weekend photo shoots. He is THAT kind of man. With all the shifts I have made in my career, my path and my mind these past few years, he has grown with me and not away from me. I am truly grateful for his presence in my life.
And my pug – oh my pug! I love him to bits. I am so grateful for his companionship every day. Boomer has been a gift. He came to me when I needed him and has brought so much happiness into my life. A life without dogs would be no life at all.
I AM Grateful. ~ Happy Thanksgiving!
